Exercise! Erh...

In college sometimes one has to go to drastic measures in order to meet enough credits to remain a full-time student.

For one of my semesters in college I had to sign up for one of those late in the year 1-2 credit seminars.
All of the other 1 credit classes were annoying and this seminar was related to my premed career, so I joined.
But jeez, whas it horrible.

The seminar was supposed to teach us about healthcare careers and the such.

The only thing I learnt was that everyone working in the field was miserable, life was horrible, and the sooner you retire the better.

My professor spent 99.9% of the time nagging about everything related to the field.
If it was not the system it was the people working there.

Another thing my professor kept nagging about was that it would be better for all if people (meaning patients) would just take better care of themselves.

I guess that means that future us would just take a patient in and say "yep, you are healthy, here's an (organic) apple. Good job"

But since patients come in sick... "everyone working in the healthcare industry is miserable, you will be miserable and the sooner you retire the better."

Since I don't want to be one of those annoying patients who come in to see a doctor while sick (what???).

After much thought and advice I have decided to start a new life. A healthier life.
....

Day one of my new life - Today I went out to get a bite to eat. Bad influences dragged me to "(Someone) in the Box" for a meal.

However! I said however, we got there WALKING.
That's right, we didn't drive there.
It was a hell of a long walk.

Thumbs up for exercise.
